There is no escaping the fact that tiny ducklings are ridiculously cute. I love the way they all follow one another in a line up too, it reminds me so much of my younger years, of the Benny Hill Show. The title for this piece, 'One Step Beyond' came to be while painting it. The unprecedented times we find ourselves in, total 'Madness'. 'One Step Beyond' being one of their biggest hits and applicable as the ducklings are jumping up a step...see how my mind works....are you following this?
The original painting for this print was a challenge (us artists always enjoy a challenge) to create the softest effect of duckling feathers but still include detail.
The highest quality framing has then been undertaken 'in house' using acid free materials, finally gold frame picks up the sheen from the gold hand-embellishing.
