I have to admit I have a bit of a soft spot for Aylesbury ducks. You see I was born in Tring in Hertfordshire back in the sixties (yes I know I am older than I look ha ha) Once a week my mum would take me on the bus to Aylesbury. Right outside the old Woolworths store were huge wooden Aylesbury duck structures. You could climb onto their backs or climb inside them. They were quite iconic land marks. Sadly the ducks and Woolworths are no longer their. Probably just as well, I don't think I could still climb onto or inside them anymore!!!
One very interesting fact about the Aylesbury Duck....Their beaks are apricot, not yellow how they often gets painted.
The highest quality framing has been undertaken 'in house' using acid free materials, finally the perfect frame.
